I am a commercial photographer from Joliet, Illinois. I am a recent graduate from Columbia College Chicago with my BA in Commercial Photography. Freezing a moment in time has been fascinating to me ever since my dad started lugging his Canon DSLR to my soccer games at age 9. Soon after I've always taken his camera to create photographs with my friends.
In my work as a commercial photographer, I want to do more than sell or promote a brand. I have an extreme fascination with the color wheel and all things hue, saturation, and luminosity. Color and texture are two key elements that drive my work and overall process of image making. I use a macro lens to showcase textures that go unnoticed, but make all the difference in how we see everyday objects. I gear towards a more graphic approach, using principles of design and shape in my compositions, choosing color combinations with intent to make the subject playful.
